About FRP

The People Who Answer Everyone Else's Call

Frontline Resilience Partners was created around a simple belief: the people who answer everyone else's call deserve someone willing to answer theirs.

Responders encounter fires, shootings, crashes, natural disasters, medical emergencies, missing children, violence and loss. Then many are expected to finish the call, write the report, clean the equipment, go home and return for the next shift as though nothing happened. FRP believes there is a better way to support the people carrying that responsibility.

Our Mission

The mission of Frontline Resilience Partners is to strengthen those who strengthen our communities. We provide practical, emotional, peer, family, resilience, community and requested spiritual support to professional first responders, emergency personnel, military personnel, veterans, disaster workers and their families.

Our work does not begin only after tragedy strikes. Resilience can be strengthened before the crisis ever arrives — by building relationships, listening, training, preparing, supporting families, helping leaders and standing beside agencies.

Our Promise

We will stand beside those who stand for others. We do not judge the responder. We do not judge the family. We do not force assistance or spiritual care. We meet people where they are and help however we reasonably can. We will "Always Left People Better Than We Found Them."

Leadership

Dennis W. Forbus · Founder & Director

FRP is led by people who have spent their lives around fire halls, patrol cars, ambulance bays and dispatch consoles. Leadership here is measured by service rather than titles — showing up for departments, families and communities across Alabama year-round.

What FRP Is Not

  • We do not replace 911, incident command, emergency management or government disaster agencies.
  • We do not replace licensed mental-health providers, medical providers or employee assistance programs.
  • We work with existing resources. We help bridge gaps, connect people and support the people doing the work.
